Are you thinking of starting a podcast? If not, you may start considering it after reading these 7 statistics about podcast listeners.

These findings all point to consistent behaviors with podcast listeners; they are educated, loyal and affluent. They also love learning new things and look to industry experts for instruction and advice. These are people that most business owners would love to call their customers.

While these numbers certainly speak for themselves, I'm sure I will throw in a little context and some gifs for good measure. I'm pretty sure it still counts as a blog if 40% of my communication comes through the power of GIFs.

Following that thread, listeners also like to learn new things while being entertained. This is the perfect opportunity to create engaging, informative content while establishing yourself as an expert voice in your community.


3. 67% of podcast audiences are made up of people between 18 and 44 years old.

2/3rds of podcast audiences are made up by this desirable tech-savvy demographic. With each having a smart phone in their pocket, podcasting is an easy and affordable way to educate and build trust with potential clients on THEIR time.

You can "spend" hours with customers before you ever meet.
